Thank you Father,
For sending Your Son.
The war we’ve been fighting?
Officially won.
Thank you Father,
He healed the sick,
And He heals today,
His power’s legit.
Thank you Father,
His wisdom is keen,
But much of it’s hidden,
Not always seen.
Thank you Father,
He disciples men,
Transforming their image,
To a 10 out of 10.
Thank you Father,
He was carried by cross,
To the top of a hill,
All looked to be lost.
But what looked to be bleak became bright!
Not long after,
A reason to rejoice, to smile, have laughter.
A reason to praise, confess, and sing,
The name Jesus Christ,
Our new risen King.
