Oh Father,
This war that we fight,
The war’s one of faith,
Not power or might.
Yes Father, its true,
What lies we’ve been told.
Lies of our nature,
Into slavery we were sold.
But! Oh Father,
Our natures much greater.
We’re born in Your image,
The very Creator.
Oh Father I ask,
What does it take?
To believe in Your Word,
And accept our fate.
Yes Father, that’s right!
Your Word makes it clear,
With each load we lift,
Your Kingdom draws nearer.
Father, I thank You.
You’ve called us as heirs,
To rule in Your Kingdom,
We get to share.
Oh Father I pray,
May each come to know,
The inheritance is here,
Above, not below.
